Sustained Dialogue | Montana State University

Over the course of the semester, I?ll probably refer a few times to Sustained Dialogue. SD is a student organization focused on transforming relationships and creating positive campus change through a process of dialogue to action. I serve as Vice Chair of Internal Affairs for SD, and because it takes up a lot of my time, it will get a lot of airtime in this blog. SD is only in its 2nd year at MSU, but we have the support of the administration and are funded by the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost. If you want to check out our national organization click here.

This weekend, we held our kick-off event for the semester. A representative from our national Washington DC office flew to Bozeman to train our members in dialogue moderation, conflict resolution, inclusive language, and the importance of cross-cultural relationships and understanding. We had a great turnout; the training is a big time commitment, 9am-5pm Saturday, and 12pm-3pm Sunday!

The rest of week consisted of a little camping, a little soaking, and more smoke from all the wildfires.
