Ultrasound is about a five decade old science, a technology that is used to study the internal organs of a human body. With the help of sound waves that are generated by the organs an image is made which helps the doctors to understand the organ better.
It is immensely popular in studying the growth of an unborn fetus. A person who does these scans by using the ultrasound machine is known as ultrasound technician. In this article we are going to discuss a little more into this.
The Requirements For Ultrasound Technician
The requirements for a good ultrasound tech are high. They are required in hospitals, clinics, small nursing homes, etc. They can also open clinics of their own and practice independently.
The scope of earning is also very good. An ultrasound technician can select his field from sonography, radiology to MRI scan as per their interest.
