Nationwide Cedarwood Financial & Insurance Services in Davis recently hired Anthony Whiteford as a life insurance associate.

?I am excited to have Tony join our team,? said Andrew Yang of the?Cedarwood?agency, in a news release. ?He brings a vast amount of knowledge and life experience to the position. With his help, (the)?Cedarwood agency will be able to better serve its customers.?

Whiteford will specialize in serving individuals, families and businesses assess and address their life insurance, fixed annuities and business succession needs.

?Our goal is to help our clients with solutions that help to ensure their financial well-being and standard of living,? Whiteford said in the release.

Prior to joining the Cedarwood agency, Whiteford worked for Maloof Sports and Entertainment in Sacramento as director of box office operations. Whiteford also is involved in music ministry at University Covenant Church in Davis, playing the drums, as well as leading worship from time to time. Also, he volunteers as a mentor.

Established in 2005, Cedarwood is the first Nationwide agency to serve Yolo and Solano counties with a professional team of combined industry and investment experience totaling more than 50 years.
